LIW: Democratising Leadership in Business First Magazine

Thrilled to see the LIW perspective on leadership getting coverage in Business First Magazine.

The article features an interview with Pia Lee, CEO of our partners in leadership – LIW.

In the spirit of Henry Ford who set out to ‘democratise the automobile’, LIW want to democratise leadership and are “convinced that it’s the key to not only improving companies but society as a whole”.

It was interesting to read about research that found leaders to have an impact of up to 70% on organisational climate through their leadership and the standards they set. Pia suggests that leaders need to develop real clarity, an optimal environment and build people’s competence to achieve business goals.

We love working with LIW as they really walk the talk in terms of authentic leadership, and of course delivering business outcomes for clients.

Fascinating also to read how Pia transitioned from ten years in the UK school system, to Sydney Olympics street cleaner (who knew!), to Director and now CEO of LIW, working with leading Fortune 500 organisations around the globe.

If you haven’t heard me talk about it before, LIW uses a four-step approach to help its clients deliver impact through leadership. Read more about this and the full interview from Business First Magazine with Pia here.
