Talking all things coaching with the LDA team – podcast episode ‘The Coaches coach! Part I

I was delighted to be invited onto the LDA podcast recently to talk about all things coaching with Clark Quinn and Matthew Richter.

As many of you will know, the Turning Learning into Action™ methodology is an advanced coaching methodology and I’m never happier than when I’m talking coaching 🙂

Matt and Clark asked some really challenging questions and certainly had me on my coaching toes. We talk about the practicalities, ethics and why managers struggle with coaching. I hope you enjoy the conversation.

And if you aren’t already a member do check out the LDA – it’s a community for learning practitioners who are evidence based and the reason I love being involved with them is the quality of the conversations and learning. It’s a stretch environment that always adds value.

You can download or listen to the whole podcast episode here.

Stay tuned for part two of this series, set to be released in a month’s time. In the upcoming episode, we will delve into the realm of coaching accreditation – exploring who determines what defines a good coach and how one can assess the quality of coaches available. We will also touch upon the effectiveness of various coaching approaches. Join us for another engaging discussion!
