Discovering a Few Learning & Development Blogs You May Enjoy

I’ve just returned from the AITD conference, and while catching up on a backlog of emails, I was delighted to learn that my blog was recognised as one of the 15 Best Learning and Development Blogs and Websites in 2025. What an honour! And a great opportunity to explore some of the other individuals and organisations featured alongside me.

Here are a few blogs from that list which caught my attention:

Julian Stodd’s Learning Blog

Julian Stodd is a real legend in the learning space and such a deep thinker. I never fail to leave a conversation with Julian, or one of his blog posts without more to noodle in. He is described as a leading thinker on modern workplace learning, social collaboration, and organisational development. Check out his recent post, Structural Shifts in Learning, offers a look at how learning is evolving in organisations. Fascinating.

Harold Jarche’s Blog

Harold Jarche is well-known for his expertise in Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) and workplace learning. His practical frameworks help individuals and organisations navigate complexity by fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing. FOr an overview of his work check out his post, Personal Knowledge Mastery (PKM), outlining how PKM helps individuals stay effective by seeking, sense-making, and sharing knowledge continuously. Again deep work to get us all thinking differently.

Thinking About Learning by Sukh Pabial

In his post, Exposure to Different Thinking, Sukh Pabial highlights the importance of encountering diverse perspectives to deepen understanding and spark creativity. This reflection encourages learning professionals to create experiences that broaden learners’ viewpoints, leading to more meaningful and impactful learning outcomes. Sukh and I cross paths more on Linkedin than in person – I really enjoy his commentary.

Explore these blogs for yourselves and see what you think. There’s a lot of great thinking being shared, and different perspectives can spark new ideas or approaches.

And as always if you have any learning transfer needs or would like to discuss ideas related to learning and development, feel free to book a time with me. I’d be happy to connect and explore how we can support your goals.
