Changing your mind – the hardest first step?

Turning Learning into Action is of course all about change. We are in the middle of a big office tidy up and as I cleared the noticeboard the other day I found one of my favourite quotes about change ones mind about a certain point of view –
“Faced with the choice between changing ones mind and proving that there is no need to do so almost everyone gets busy on the proof.”
Often this is the first step to change and sometimes it the hardest.
What are you grappling with right now that you are resisting changing your mind on? Before you get busy on the proof look at it from all angles – is it time just to change your mind?
