My Top Highlights from ATD 2018 So Far

Hello from San Diego in the USA!

As ever – it’s been a wonderful few days so far of learning and connection at the Association of Talent Development’s International Conference & Expo.

The highlight for many so far has got to be the chance to see Barack Obama’s keynote this morning. Check out this photo of the queue of people lining up to get a seat for his session!

I recorded a quick video this morning from the queue waiting to get my seat at Obama’s session! I have included a few of my highlights from the first day, including Gore & Associates talking about leadership skills required for the future, Paul Zak talking about trust within organisations, and the Executive Board & DDI talking about the skills required for digital transformation –

A really great time so far. I look forward to sharing more with you after the next few days. If you couldn’t make it to ATD ICE this year – not to worry! You can stay involved through Twitter with #ATD2018 or through backchannel king David Kelly’s dedicated site.

And, finally!! I was super excited to speak at the conference this afternoon on benchmarking your organisation’s learning maturity for advanced learning transfer.

Understanding your organisation’s level of learning maturity will help gauge who is best placed to fulfil the learning transfer role: TAKE THE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MATURITY MODEL SURVEY.
