My Top Highlights from ATD 2019

Hello from Washington, D.C. in the USA!

As ever – it’s been a wonderful few days of learning and connection at the Association of Talent Development’s International Conference & Expo.

I recorded a quick video today and behind me is the closing down of the Expo Hall. 450 vendors shared their expertise at the Expo and 300 concurrent sessions ran between Sunday 19th May and Wednesday 22nd May. Huge!

In this video, I shared my learning from the sensational keynotes:

  • Seth Godin – A really inspiring session calling on people to take action on what they believe in.
  • Eric Whitacre – The phenomenal story of how he found his passion for choirs and how he followed that passion through his life.
  • Oprah Winfrey – The opening keynote of the conference. What an inspirational woman – she shared her heart with such humility. Three key lessons will stick with me. See more of it in this video.

I had a really great time, and I look forward to sharing more with you in the next few days.

To close, a shout to those who are in Australia. We have our own industry conference coming up VERY soon in the form of Australian Workplace Learning Conference 2019 on June 6th in Sydney. I’m very happy that I’ll be taking the stage with one of my clients sharing our Chatbot case study. Do come along and get involved. I really look forward to seeing you there!
