Hi everyone,

Sharing a surprise from ATD!

Can you imagine my excitement this week when I had a surprise package arrive from the US? I was absolutely delighted to receive a copy of the ATD’s Handbook for Training and Talent Development, edited by Elaine Biech, where I have a featured chapter on Learning Transfer — The Missing Link in Learning. If you have watched the video, you will see how big the book is! A compendium of very interesting and practical excerpts, tools, and techniques!

A big thank you to Elaine, and congratulations to all the featured authors and ATD for bringing together insights that will help talent development, training, and learning professionals.

In other Lever news… It is a thrill to have had a conversation with Dr. Stella Lee about data analytics which challenges us to keep refining our thinking and questioning and moving forward in the spaces around transfer. What can we do with the data at hand – what it means and how it can help with learning and talent development.

I look forward to continuing our strategy conversations around learning transfer. And of course, I know many of you are already mid-planning for 2023, so do reach out if we can support you at all.

Let’s keep in touch 🙂
