Rest day! Phew 365km complete 435km to go

At the Riverview hotel in Nakhonphanom today (the Meekong if course!!) It is spectacular and last nights river cruise was wonderful marking the half way point in our travels (time wise at least!) two big days back to back and my legs are feeling it but have been buoyed by visits to 2 schools on route to play with the Thai kids who are just gorgeous. Thanks to Henry who rode back and created a draft for Renee and I to hop in for the last 5km of day 4 leg 4…. (5 legs a day in general) Came close to not making it but we are riding as a team so help was at hand in the shape of the Henry Express. Its amazing what a juice break and a stretch if the legs can do – leg 5 was the shortest of the day and we had made it.
Back on the bike tomorrow of course – it’s hot but not as hot as Sydney. Stay safe at home.
